Liverpool Comic Con!

Liverpool Comic Con!

What a weekend!

I travelled up to Liverpool on March 31st to stay over for 2 nights. What was supposed to be a 3 hour drive, turned into 4 hours due to traffic. Remind me to stop at a service station next time!

We were treated to a performance in our hotel from Victor, the actor who plays 'Thing' in Wednesday. He played guitar for us and his partner sang to us as well, it was lovely!

So then it was Saturday and I had my photo taken with Jamie, who was so lovely and sweet. After my photo, I had some time to kill before getting my drawing signed, so I walked around some stalls for a bit. Then I was next in line to see him. When it was time and he seen my drawing. He loved it! He recognised me from the photo and I told him the drawing was challenging (which it was!) I then told him how I draw for other people and I gave him a copy of the drawing. You can watch the full meeting video on my Tik Tok page.

Then for the rest of the day we got our photo taken with Joseph Morgan, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley. They were all so lovely.

We then went back to the hotel and had some drinks and dinner.

Sunday!

First thing we did was go and see David Harbour, as he was busy we were told to come back later so that's what we did. In the meantime we walked around the stalls and got some food until it was time to go back. I handed him my drawing and he said it was amazing! Every time someone says that to me it honestly makes my day. He thanked me for coming and I went on my way!

After this we went back outside for some fresh air and waited around until it was time for our panels. We attended the Stranger Things and Vampire Diaries panels. They were great!

After those panels it was time for me to drive home. This drive was much better than the drive there. We stopped off for some food and we were on our way again.

Safe to say I will be attending the next Liverpool Comic Con and other monopoly events. They are very well organised and lots of fun!

Now.... who to draw next?
